Completing the Holiday Checklist

The holiday season is a lot about doing things to make other people happy. That’s no bad thing, but for us women especially, that often results in putting a lot of energy into decorating, socializing (as much as we are this year), sending cards, buying gifts, and a whole host of other things for everyone but themselves. While hopefully that means that other people are doing their best to make you happy, we all know that’s no guarantee, especially for those of us who are navigating life with not quite as many of the usual suspects around to support us.

So here’s my challenge to you: remember to make yourself happy. What will you do? Buy yourself a gift? Plan a day off? Not go to that holiday happy hour Zoom? You tell me.
